The January realease of TERA in Korea was a resounding success.

TERA was released on January 25 in Korea and they already have a level 50 (max level) player. A popori berserker named “Dog” was the first player in the world to hit level 50. TERA Fans had a wonderful chance to interview this hardcore gamer about his leveling experience and overall opinions of TERA.

En Masse Studio’s Ryan Crosby had the opportunity to travel with Brian Knox to Bluehole Studio in Korea for their TERA launch event. In this developers blog he explains the anticipation and the excitement that he felt on this trip and during the launch. TERA launched over 27 servers on its opening day and took the record for “most concurrent users” in a Korean video game with 147,400 players online its opening day.

We may have months to go before we see TERA available to the western market but articles like these show us that not only is TERA a game that is going to be worth the wait, but TERA is also going to be a tested, tried and true product by the time we delve into it.
