The latest update to the Star Wars: The Old Republic site give players a look at Flashpoints, which are instanced adventures for a group of characters. Players will need to make decisions that determine the enemies you'll face and the outcome of the story. Flashpoints will also contain some epic rewards, much like various dungeons and instances in other MMOs.

The update gives players a first look at the Taral V Flashpoint, which requires Republic players to liberate a Jedi prisoner from the Imperials. GameSpot talked with World designer Jesse Sky to learn more about Taral V. Sky said that the Flashpoint is for levels 32+ and is balanced for a group of four players. It can be completed in roughly 90 minutes, which is the average length of a Flashpoint.
