If you'd like to take advantage of the free character transfer service in Aion, you may want to do it soon. NCsoft announced this week that the last free character transfer will occur on Jan. 5, 2011. After that date, manual transfers will be offered until Jan. 19 to reunite family members and consolidate characters of the same faction. All sorts of criteria must be met to be approved for a manual transfer, so be sure to read all the details in the official announcement.

If you miss your chance at a free character transfer, NCsoft will be implementing a paid character transfer service in the near future. Keep an eye on Aion's Powerwiki for more information once it becomes available.
