South Korea's G-Star event is over and here is what we learned.

TERA is offering one of the first server wide, developer supported, community promoted political system in modern MMOs. The details of this system, especially in the NA/EU release, are still being heavily designed, however a few details were mentioned at G-Star. 

Every province is going to have an elected official called a Vanarch.  Each Vanarch can run for the office of Exarch for even further political clout.  Political power can be used to alter tax rates and change in game rules. Also, it should be noted that TERA pays its politicians in special privileges like equipment and mounts (e.g. bribes).
