The Elemental Invasion brings about the end in small, bite-sized, chunks.

Suddenly yesterday afternoon we found that all our efforts were in vain. The Cultists opened their rifts in our towns and the only thing we could do was protect them! We were given some sandbags to help fortification and totems to free noncombatants. But mostly we closed the rifts by ending the elementals in a giant free for all.
