SW:TOR reveals new playable species: The Rattataki

New sources confirm that SW:TOR will have playable species, like the Rattataki, available for players to select

Interesting news for SW:TOR fans as TheGalacticStruggle.com has just confirmed that playable species will be available for users to choose from in their character creation. According to the site, they were playing as a level 6 Bounty Hunter on Hutta, where they were informed that they were actually playing as a Rattataki, a near-human species most typically characterized by their white skin and bald heads. If any of you are fans of the cartoon, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, then you may remember the Rattataki, Asajj Ventress, an apprentice of Count Dooku, who was renowned for her dark Jedi powers.

This new information of playable races comes hot on the heels of BioWare's "Advanced Class" System reveal from last friday, thus giving players a juicy hint as to how deep a role character customization would play in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Sadly, however, Jake Neri, the Senior Producer of Lucas Arts, did confirm that SW:TOR would not have as much indepth customization as Star Wars Galaxies, but that's really not saying much, since pre-CU, pre-NGE SWG was probably one of the deepest (and sometimes confusing) systems ever. We'll keep you posted if any other new playable races will be revealed!
