In reaction to massive server queues that have been plaguing this newly launched MMORPG, the team at Aion has announced the first of a handful of new servers to be opened to alleviate the population stress. The new server, Fregion, will be set to North American West Coast time. The team notes that they plan on releasing, at least, one more European server and one more East Coast server.

Ayase, Community Manager of Aion, notes that while the server is meant to alleviate over-populated servers, the team "will continue to monitor the situation and maintain the delicate balance between managing busy servers versus overcompensating by adding new servers that may become underpopulated."
