Servers Go Live for Head Start; 4th Podcast Posted

There's a lot going on in the world of Aion in preparation for the game's official launch tomorrow in North America. First of all, the servers were brought online yesterday as part of the Head Start program for players who pre-ordered the game, and NCsoft has "implemented a queuing system that will shuttle players into servers as others leave" in order to prevent overcrowding. You can view the live server status for the preselection process on the newly revamped official site to see which races are eligible for creation at any given time.

Also, IGN has posted the fourth Aion video podcast, which focuses on the development team answering various questions from fans, including an explanation of how Abyss points work. Aion will indeed have instances and there are currently no plans to add mounts since players can glide. Also, there has been discussions of adding player housing systems in the future.
