Many MMOs will be Featured at PAX from Sept. 4-6

It was announced today that the Penny Arcade Expo has completely sold out, but gamers who were lucky enough to already get their badges have a ton of MMO excitement waiting for them in Seattle from Sept. 4-6, or you can keep an eye on ZAM.com for all our PAX news.

We've already reported there will be a playable Star Trek Online demo on the floor and CCP will showcase EVE Online at the convention, but that's only a taste of what's in store at this year's expo. Keep reading after the jump for just some of the other games you can expect to see on the floor at PAX 2009.

  • The City of Heroes team will be at booth #542, and you'll be able to try out the new power customization options that are coming in Issue 16.
  • The Turbine team will be at booth #142 to showcase DDO Unlimited, which launches Sept. 9. There will even be a Succubus game going on throughout the exhibit hall that could earn you DDO swag. Lord of the Rings Online will be featured as well, although Turbine has stated that PAX is DDO's time to shine.
  • You can get some hands-on time with the latest version of Aion at booth #642, as well as talk with staff members and get some goodies.
  • Players can stop by the Warhammer Online booth all weekend for a T-shirt and in-game items. Mythic Entertainment Executive Producer Jeff Hickman will be discussing Game Design 101 on Sept. 4 at 10:30 a.m. during a panel session.
  • Members of the Runes of Magic team will be available to speak to fans at booth #23 and a live stream of the booth will be available on the game's Web site. Mounts and items will be given out to players who watch the stream.
  • Playable demos of Jumpgate Evolution will be available at the Dolby Booth #712 and the Alienware Booth #1114. NetDevil and Gazillion are are also hosting a fan meet and greet at the Hilton hotel in Seattle on Sept. 5 from 7-9 p.m. PDT.
  • Members of the Pirates of the Burning Sea team will be shooting limited edition T-shirts out of cannons at booth #1322. They're also hosting a meet and greet on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. at The Islander.
