Yes you can get in

How do I know that? Well I am currently in Coronet City. Here are some tips that helped me. I don't know if they will work for everyone, but I will pass them on. While in the signup screen, when you hit a bad page or an error mesage, right click and use the back button and try again. Also, wait for the page to either load, give you an error or come up broken before backing up and trying again. Persistance eventually pays off. I believe the only screen you need to load on the first try is the credit card screen after you fill in your number (backing to that over and over eventually sent me to one of the earlier screens). Also, one tip for the former Everquest players. If you go to options-controls-keymap, you are able to load a new keymap that changes around the control interface to one very similar to Everquest's. I personally find it easier to use. Of course, many may prefer the SWG default settings. UPDATE: C-3PO posted this at 5:32 pacific: "Subscription server is back online. We're seeing a fair amount of traffic going through it now. We will likely be seeing more problems, but different ones and less dramatic. I'll keep you updated."

To those who think the mozilla way doest work...it does work. It even works with Netscape and IE, as me and 3 other friends tried, once we heard this rumor. We all got the subscription part hammered down. Then we patched. I got to create a character but them boom, servers down.

And yes you will get the same errors you get doing the subscription part but somehow not as much as with the SWG launch pad for some unknown reason. What I truly hope is we all can play this thing today.

Ok, taking over ten hours to make a char: predictable....

The servers going down all night: like we didnt see that one coming!!

the pains we all have in our *** for sitting in our deskchairs all day/night: un-healthy

(getting a doctor's note, and calling out of work friday, too do it all over again...priceless)

Servers are down all night due to a serious bug with their Oracle database. This announcement from the official forums:
--

We apologize for the inconvienence, but we have found a serious problem with our database that is being worked on as we speak. We expect to have most of our servers back online sometime in the early morning West Coast time on Friday.. Our best estimate is 8:00am Pacific time… but we will update this time as we get better estimates.
We sincerely apologize for this unforseen problem and we look forward to getting you all back in the game as soon as possible.

"fo·rum"
Pronunciation: 'fOr-&m, 'for-
a : a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion b : a program (as on radio or television) involving discussion of a problem usually by several authorities.

Make sure you look up "Toryn Knoka" when you get on-line. every new hero needs a sworn enemy! And yes, complaining does help.....

Well. SWG has NOT launched yet. I think that's why people are complaining. As of now there has not been any stability today and servers are all down still.

You know, about 1000 people complained that beta ended too early. Well. You guys proved us all wrong. You where right. It was to early.

With all the phase 3 cd's just getting into peoples hands. I never even had stable server time to work on testing all the features myself.
