The Champions Online Web site is currently full of information on Dr. Silverback and his thoughts on the Qularr invasion. If you don't know who Dr. Silverback is, that's OK because the Champions team has posted a profile of the hero. The doctor is a large, brilliant gorilla who is one of the most celebrated scientists in the world. He battles villains with intelligence and gadgets.

In a separate post, we find out more about the Qularr attack in Millennium City through Dr. Silverback's journal. He's on Monster Island and unable to reach the Champions, but he does have access to Takashi Toru, the world’s foremost expert on the Qularr.

Basically, the Qularr are bug-like creatures with a large technological advantage over the Champions. The Qularr have put a forcefield around the city and their attack has degenerated into complete chaos. Dr. Silverback seems to think that the key to victory is discovering why the Qularr have gone berserk.
