More Fixes Listed; 'Hot Hot Hot Streak' Removed

Blizzard poster Bornakk has listed some more fixes that have been applied to the game since patch 3.1 went live Tuesday. These followed the fixes we recently posted. Here's the first few fixes, and you can find the rest after the jump:

  • We have made it so player cannot attack additional quest giver NPCs at the Argent Tournament.
  • Pets have been properly trained to now attack Kologarn when instructed.
  • Hunter pets should now have their talents refunded when a hunter switches talent specs, even if they are dismissed at the time.
  • When re-implemented into the game, the trash mobs before XT-002 Deconstructor should be a little easier to defeat.

In addition, Blizzard has removed the Hot Hot Hot Streak achievement, along with the Flawless Victor title it granted. Bornakk said "it was often being earned through methods that were not what we wanted to encourage." It could be brought back soon, however, although no promises have been made.

  • Blood Boil should no longer penetrate Ice Block or Divine Shield.
  • Rank 2 of maim should now correctly provide an interrupt effect.
  • Improved Aspect of the Hawk should no longer allow Rapid Regeneration to provide additional mana beyond the intended scope of the ability.
  • Players killed or ghosts that move into Crystalsong Forest should now be on a spectral gryphon to ride back to their body.
  • Champion of the Frozen Wastes should now be able to be completed again.
  • Lifebloom can no longer be forced to bloom early.
  • Stunning a druid while not in cat form should no longer remove the Primal Tenacity buff.
  • The Glyph of Envenom was not supposed to be put into the game and has been removed.
  • Quest giving NPCs at the Argent Tournament should no longer be able to be attacked by players.
  • Certain fishing nodes for one of the fishing daily quests should no longer be spawned on land.
  • The book of glyph mastery has had its drop rate increased.
  • T.N.T. should now properly increase the damage of Explosive Trap.
  • The disarm effect from Psychic Horror should no longer be able to be dodged.
  • Players should no longer be able to equip and soulbind an item they aren’t able to use.

Please increase the drop rate of Book of Glyph Mastery. Sweet Jebus, I killed mobs like crazy on Tuesday night, all day Wednesday and most of Thursday. Not one book dropped. Now if it were a blue item, I *might* understand it, but this is green. It shouldn't be that rare.

Yes, I read that. Sheesh...

I was commenting on the fact that it's still not enough. Killing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and... get the point? Since patch day, still not a single one has dropped for me. I'm currently on vacation, and with the exception of patch day I've been getting in at least 8 hours a day. You'd think that ONE book would have dropped by now...

3.1 had me looking forward to my inscription again. Instead Blizzard takes the spiked sandpaper ***** and says "BEND OVER SCRIBE!!!!!!! To learn your new glyphs, you have to find an item that's rarer than the blue drops for Jewelcrafting!!!!"

Oh that's funny coming from someone currently in the whiner's camp about how "OP" Death Kinghts are.

Actually it's an uncommon world drop. It's green. Rare drops are blue, epics are purple. Please learn the color system, m'kay?

If it were a blue item, I'd understand the current rarity. A green item should not be this rare.

Only if Bliz raises the drop rate above the < 1% chance that it's currently at.

stop pulling up silly crap. i'am correcting your ******* in the other post. No where do you see me whining how OP death knights are. You're just whining that why arent Death Knights OP [the "they're heroic classes, they should be more powerful" thing you said"].

I am simply stating in that topic, that the healing nerf is of no consequence, because the ability has been changed to be included in the main rotation and now does a greater deal of damage. No where do you see me saying "Deathknights need to be nerfed" "this is good now i can beat DK's" "Why cant i beat a DK, it keeps killing me", "this puts DK's in their place" bla bla bla, non of that. Thus theres no QQ.

How often do you get a green item drop off a creature? somewhat often right? But those are green EQUIPMENT drops. This a glyph drop. Its a green proffesion related drop of great utility and profitability included from a very recent patch. Most of these glyphs are very good. My color system knowledge is jsut fine. My logic systems are better.

it already boosted the % drop.

outside of anything blizz gives us, all programs showing percentages for world wide rare drops are often very innaccurate.
