At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

* The World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance. Please wait until after the maintenance is completed before attempting to use this service.

Having maintenance during NA times has always been something i've been a fan of personally. Once the servers come back up we get a HUGE advantage on notorious monsters. Thanks to this maintenance i'm 350k richer than I was before. THANKS SE!

I kind of agree with both sides here. It seems that the maintenance happen more so during NA playing time then JP. Two hours is not a long time to wait but SE could have timed it better or plan different maintenance windows at different times so everyone world wide can feel the pinch every now and then.

Meanwhile, I broke out my old Tony Hawk game and will be playing until the maintenance is complete.

yeah i agree 2 hours isnt long, but ive been playing long enough where "Game will be down for 2 hours maintenance" has turned into 3 hours, then 4, then 6. if you're gonna run this, why not around 5am EST. there wont be that many people on effected. and yeah, they do seem to give preference in doing these things to not effect JP people than the NA players.

Apparently you fail at grasping the fact that we get weeks of playtime (added together, the hours sum up to weeks) during a month and only a few days (summed up hours, again) of maintenance during that same month. In fact, there may be less maintenance hours in that month than 24.

You seriously need to get your act together. Everyone is tired of hearing ******** people like you who have nothing better to do than bash on SE for mere hours of maintenance.

Ironically enough, we'd lose more customers to other MMORPGs if SE didn't keep this game in shape with so many maintenances.
