Yeah. I've been playing since this game came out on PS2. It's Everquest Lite, but I still enjoy it. I would rather play EQPC, but my comp is so slow that it's easier for me to play on PS2 because I can actually get something done. But the console gamer crowd is so much different than the PC gamer crowd. You all know me as Niggle, the Gnome Warrior on Castle Lightwolf, but last night I made a new character on the new server, Marr's Fist; a Darkaelf Rogue named Lupin (couldn't fit "thethird" in the name). I was playing as my new character with just about the WORST players I've ever come across. I've dealt with Magicians who like to tank, Warriors that prefer Kick over Taunt because "it does damage," and a Michigan J. Frog style Cleric that just sat there, looked dumb, and croaked (that's a tip of the hat to allakhazam - "Why can't froglok's be bards" is still my favorite thought of the day). So I came to this conclusion - all the good EQPC Old Schoolers are on the first four servers. They would've bought the game when it came out and been set up on those initial servers. Now with Marr's Fist, its going to be mostly the console gamers who are just now buying the game (or tool's like myself who are trying to get a cool name like Lupin =) ). I've heard people if there was anyway to guage your exp, and people answer No. THERE'S AN EXP GUAGE!!! TWO OF THEM!!! Anyway, I guess I'm just ranting. I just wish people would learn to play the game. They PAY for it monthly! The least they could do is learn how to play.
