Well, if nothing else it will dramatically cut down on the requests for raises in the dunes. If a party member dies another one runs to town, changes to a high level raise job and does it themselves. Still, part of the low level experience is the run from city to Dunes. SE keeps making it easier and easier. Now anyone with a level 20+ job can ride a chocobo to town and switch jobs safely. Maybe they'll open Qufim to chocobos so people can ride to the tower safely since, if you follow the traditional route to leveling (Dunes, Qufim, jungles, GC, CN), that is going to be the only dangerous run left (again assuming 20+ job availability).
Well, I guess running to the lizard camp at level 10-12 is still dangerous enough, aggro from bats in the cave and all when coming from Selbina...

I Prayed yo Odin and asked for these changes. Now if I can just get more merit options for my red mage and a new refresh speel I'll be happy.
OH OMG OMG

On a side note, AWESOME! Now if they'd just give me more merit options.

OP Warps not exactly transferred over?

I thought I've read from somewhere that the OP warps are retained only for the nation you have obtained them for. For instance, if you obtained north gustaberg OP warp when you were under Bastok, then if you changed nation to sandoria, you won't be able to use the Ngustaberg OP unless you obtained it through supply quests for Sandoria. However, when you chance back to Bastok, you get to keep the OP without having to obtain them all again from scratch.

If this isn't the case, then people would easily get all OPs for all 3 starting areas, which defeats the purpose of conquest to control an area....kind of.....

That's exactly how I am understanding it too. And the same thing with CP. If you had 300,000 CP while with Bastok, and switched to another nation, you CP would be 0 in the new nation. When you swap back to Bastok, your 300,000 CP will be there again.

As I wrote in my LS's update tracking thread... "it's par for the course". I'm very glad that they are making the changes, but they never seem to do things until people have long given up hope.

This is going to be a great update! Nomad moogles in Mhura and Selbina not that big of a deal for me, but keeping your OP warps when you change nations is awesome! I've been wanting to complete the other nation missions but didn't want to lose OP, now just have complete more missions!

Auto sorting while fishing for hours on end, awesome! With the recent goobie bag update I didn't have too many instances but now would be even less of regreatably letting that fish go!

Now if they'd just add skill ups while in campain battles and chocobo to the past areas and I'd be even happier!

Well... if they updated the armor available for pup to use to be a little more in line with what's available for mnk to use then I'd be overjoyed! Maybe 3-5 more years ; ;

"..and chocobo to the past areas and I'd be even happier!"

If they ever add Chocobos to the past..... it'll be either when they get little light bulb above their heads saying 'Hey, that's a good idea' or when hell freezes over.

My guess is leaning toward the second one, haha.
wow, took them long enough...

Definitely looking forward to this update. Should cut down on the "Failed to meet the requirements for obtaining the Kindred's/Beastmen's Seals" lines in merit parties. (Assuming normal sort methods and quick toucan sam or whatever kills). I've seen that chat line more often than I care to count.

Nomad Moogles are definitely a help. Especially if someone gets to a dunes party and realizes they forgot something important, like ammo.

Outpost warp keeping = I can finally see the other nation storylines for myself and not just read about them. (Can't say I'm looking forward to 2-3 or 5-1 fights again, but hey, break a few eggs to make an Imperial Omlette).

I wonder how many starter zones are gonna go to other nations in the week(s) after this update?

Kinda funny how they start offering all these things people have been asking for that only 3rd party hackers were offering. Finally we get something to level the playing field at least a little with those who decided to cheat long ago.

Now if only I could talk them into a server that allows PvP anywhere in game. I'd go red for you, baby.....
lol.

Guy sends e-mail: "Dear SE, Give us Nomad Mogs in Selbina and Mhaura, auto sort our times, and let us keep our OP Warps when we switch nations."

SE: "Alright!"

Guy: "I sent that letter 5 years ago."

SE: "We'll get back to you about that."

I go on break from the game and they finally put Nomad Moogles in Selbina and Mhaura. I guess I can see how this feature would have helped the RMT in their hay days but still something long overdue.

I give 2 thumbs up for this update...when I come back and download it :)

That's just like saying that the ToAU zones are unfair to people who had a level 75 job to merit prior to ToAU release.

This change isn't unfair to anyone. It was a suggestion that was brought up many years ago, and they are finally allowing it to happen. It's a good change, and I for one, am happy to see it.

I agree. I don't lvl low lvl jobs that much, but my wife does like crazy. She hates to lvl a job to 18 or so then have to OP warp back then run out blah blah blah. I like the change. Would have been cool to see it 5 years ago, but at least it's here now. I'M hoping this will be an experience where we'll see better parties and people adjusting and changing jobs they may have around dunes lvls. It'll be cool.
