Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues from 1997-2001. Mythic is number 421 on the "Technology Fast 500" list, which will appear on Forbes.com and Fast500.com starting October 16. Mythic also appeared on the Virginia regional Fast 50 list, at number 20. "Mythic is extremely honored to be one of only four game publishers to make the list, joining such industry leaders as Activision and Take Two Interactive. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1997 and $1 million in 2001, and must be "technology companies" defined as companies that own proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devotes a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology. On October 10, Mythic was honored at a ceremony in Vienna, VA for the regional Fast 50. This announcement comes just months before the company launches the much-anticipated expansion pack, Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles.
