FINAL FANTASY XI Update

At the following time, we performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

[Important Update Details]

- Preventive measure has been implemented to address the fire elemental appearing in certain areas.

- The location of a ??? that appears in Jugner Forest [S] has been partly fixed.

- The following NPCs will now appear during Campaign Battles:
  The Eldieme Necropolis [S] - Erik / Layton
  Crawlers' Nest [S] - Naiko-Paneiko
  Garlaige Citadel [S] - Rarcasmeault

- Calculation of performance assessment by Campaign Arbiters has been adjusted.

- The price of Scholar spells has been adjusted.

- The following items are now being sold in the following areas:
  Southern San d'Oria [S] - Hatchet
  Bastok Markets [S] - Pickaxe / Sickle
  Windurst Waters [S] - Sickle

well i was still able to get 600xp per wave just hanging out in the eldieme [s] after the update. go bst/whm and have RR up ... after one wave i'd die then RR get 600 xp and rinse/repeat for the next wave. worked well for an easy 1800xp for little time/work. so it doesn't appear to have changed.

A good start to some of my early gripes:

They want me to use my lumberjack skills, but no place sells a hatchet? (sigh).

I just want a map... why is the boom boom music going on 24/7 in Crawler's Nest?

Let's hope that people start to feel a "need" to take over the campaign areas... we need a "reason" to fight for those zones, after all...

This'll make Map Aquisition easier for the new zones - no more waiting (Hoping) for campaign to end to get the quests done.
