Greece Bans Games

I found this too odd not to post. In an ironic twist, Greece, the home of the original games - the Olympics, has enacted a new law that bans all forms of electronic gaming. The law was apparantly passed to try to prevent illegal gambling, but is being interpreted to ban all games, including game boy games, computer games and games played on cell phones. People have already been fined thousands of dollars just for playing or owning games like online chess. Tourists travelling through Greece with their game boy or a laptop actually run the risk of being arrested and fined. The good part about this is that now whenever I start to curse about some boneheaded law enacted in our country, I can stop and think "well at least I don't live in Greece".
