Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launched on the PlayStation 4 last week. I’ve been a long-time Final Fantasy RPG fan, but when it comes to the Final Fantasy MMOs I have only had done beta testing for both XIV 1.0 and A Realm Reborn. It’s been a while since I've played in Eorzea and I’ve been looking forward to checking it out on the PS4. Square Enix was kind enough to send over a copy of the game to review; here are my impressions of how it plays out so far on the console!

We're now three weeks away from the November 15th release date of Sony's PlayStation 4 console in North America, while those in Europe will have to wait until the 29th for their systems. Some of us have probably already planned vacation or "sick" time to play with their new console and games. Luckily for the rest of us who can't get out of work that day or the week after, we won't have to be completely separated from our new systems. In a recent press release and blog post, Sony announced that Playstation App, their mobile application for iOS and Android devices, will be released for free on November 13th in North America and November 22nd for EU.

We have less than a month until Sony Online Entertainment brings their superhero MMO, DC Universe Online, to the living room with the release of the Playstation 4. For those potential new players looking to try out the game as well as current PC and PS3 players hoping for new additions to their existing game, Executive Producer Larry Liberty posted an letter outlining what changes to expect with the release of Game Update 31 and the new platform for the MMO.

This November Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is slated to make its next-generation console debut on the Playstation 4 at BlizzCon 2013. BlizzCon is Blizzard Entertainment's annual expo covering just about everything Blizzard related. The demo will be playable for the full two day duration of the event spanning from November 8th-9th.
