Asda Story Launches Valentine Events And Costumes

According to a post on the Asda Story website, the team will be launching a slew of Valentine's Day events for the month of February. The first event, the Valentine's Candyshop Crafting Event, will allow players to create some neat Valentine's Day Candy to restore their health and mana, as well as the ability to craft the... Donut Sword? In addition to this, there will be a Valentine's Day Pet Event, where monsters will be dropping tokens left and right that spell out L-O-V-E. Players who collect all four tokens will be able to receive a special "Valentine's Day Pet Egg," which can then be hatched into their very own pet. At the end of March 2nd, 2010, players who have managed to get their pet above the "Great Adult" level will also be able to keep them permanently!

Finally, there will also be an "attendance event," where players can visit the event NPC in town every day to receive "attendance tickets," which can then be redeemed for some additional gifts, as well as the opportunity to win a raffle draw for up to 5,000 Campus Credits!

That's a lot of events to have for one day, and that's not even including the bonus double EXP and double drop rate weekend!

ONE Game Card Lets Players Manage MMO Spending

Open Network Entertainment announced today that it has launched the ONE Power-Up Game Card, which is a prepaid gift card that allows you to manage your spending for a variety of MMOs and other online games. So what games are compatible with the card? By participating in these battles, players can earn items and gear not available elsewhere in the game.

Asda Story Trailer Released

Asda Story has released their first trailer! The video highlights the Soul Mate and Real Costume Systems, and give a brief overview of the classes and vehicles available in game.

Based on a colorful, bright and cheerful world, Asda Story is a free to play exciting fantasy-style anime 3D MMORPG game that features a unique 'Soul Mate System.' The unique party system offers two players the ability to align to become 'soul mates' and allows them to wear unique costumes and use special skills. Another key feature of the game is the 'Real Costume System,' which gives players some of the most extensive personalization and design options ever seen in an MMORPG.

Both unique systems ('Soul Mate System' and the 'Real Costume System') were credited for helping to generate a high female user ratio for Asda Story (more than 20% of the total players are female) when launched in Korea and Japan. With these systems, players are able to personalize the design of their items and make the look of their characters stand out. Gamescampus.com is expecting to see similar ratios with females for the launch of Asda Story in the United States.

I'd like to introduce myself as the Senior GM for Asda Story. We are currently working on finishing up the translation and localization of the game client and undergoing Alpha Testing for the next couple weeks, which will be followed by our First Beta Test once everything has been set up for your arrival! There will be no need to worry about spots for the coming Tests, as everyone interested will be able to join in and help us get the game ready for open service! Once the Beta Tests begin, I will also be the one in charge of getting all of your Direct Q&A (DQA) messages answered and your bugs reported to the development team to get investigated and addressed properly.

In the coming weeks before the Beta Test we will be adding more information about Asda Story to the Producer's Journal, including class details, game content, and backstory. I'd also like to take the time to welcome everyone back from the Game & Game version of the Asda Story client, and we greatly appreciate the experience with the game you guys are going to be bringing to the table! Asda Story Open Beta

Asda Story has announced their open beta event!
Sweet 3D MMORPG Asda Story will start its Open Beta on December 6th, 2007. Based on a colorful, bright, and cheerful world, it is an easy game where monsters with powerful individualities. Lots of female users would be treated awesome and can have great tastes of this comfortable game easily.

Asda Story is very appealing to female users because of unique Soulmate System. We had lots of female users in CBT, and all of them are coming back to play OBT of Asda Story. Among Soulmates, healing, summoning, resurrecting, sharing attack or defense points were most popular. No girls over level 10 were playing alone. This is very casual game to satisfy both sexes.

In Asda Story, one of the greatest characteristics is Costume Fashion Show. This is the very first system ever in MMORPG. Korean and Japanese female users were very satisfied with this system where 40% of gamers were occupied with females. Users can have their own sets of armories with special characteristics. We don't like TWINS. Weapons and armors are considered just decorations that their real purpose will be served with Sowels. It¡¯s only possible in Asda Story to arrange your own weapons and armors with special abilities. It all depends on different Sowels with different skills providing armories to be very strong in defensive and offensive.
There are prizes associated with the open beta, and a quick intro for those of you not familiar with the game!
