how much money I made off one saronite bar...Follow

So I accidentally put one saronite bar on the AH for around 980 gold, and it actually sold. I was shocked to find the following message in my mailbox

The weird thing is, I tried to armory the guy, and nothing came up. Either way, I doubled my money off a single bar. I guess that just goes to show you that you never know what some people will buy...

I'd say....

You've been hacked, and the hackers had transferred gold from other hacked accounts to sell. Why else would you have a page full of restoration requests there as well?

If I'm wrong, lucky you. Some poor guy can not understand where all his gold went.

Yup - looks like that was a side effect of the hack.

Or he is the GM of his guild and his guild bank got hacked. Blizz will mail the stolen items about a week or so after wards. I have been getting these more and more lately too.

I was hacked about two weeks before this went down, but Blizzard restored my account and I've since changed all my passwords and started using an authenticator. I hope I'm not at any more risk...

If you have not wiped your machine clean, yes you are. The only way to be 100% certain keyloggers don't remain on your system is to completely wipe it. Sure they may have stolen your wow password, but who knows what else they're taking.

That was an incredibly pointless bump. Also, if hackers posted the auction, then he wouldn't know if it was one bar or twenty, you ******* idiot. Way to make your first post a useless one.
