Sick of looking like everyone else ?Follow

I am just wondering if there have been any rumors perhaps of a bit more customization coming for the Promathia expansion. I love this game it has a lot to offer but it seems like it would be such a small thing to be able to let some customization as far as the way armour looks... perhaps high level crafters could make different designs or colors of normally boring armours or weapons or just something as simple as being able to color armour. I dont know Im just sick of seeing my twin brother wearing what Im wearing cause thats what everyone my level wears and I was just curious if anyone had heard anything about it.

I wish they would have had a little more customization... but as far as I see it, I'm not gonna recreate my character to change the face or body dimensions. Granted it'd be nice to have more diversity, but I doubt everyone would have time or patience to want to recreate their character and go back though all of their quests, missions, and levels.

Rumors should be kept locked away though...

Well thats a given but they could easily allow an edit on exsisting characters as they did in EQPC, also Im talking more than just the appearance of the character but along the lines of armour and robes things like that.

I just wish that by taking one look at a person you wouldn't already have memorized oh yea hes wearing level 17 lizard armor. The armor and its level are so noticeable and the skin is often used again, i.e. Leather armor, Cuir Armor.

I agree color schemes and possibly some kind of logo, design on the armor would allow uniqueness to flow through the game. But we'll see.

the problem with such customization is the fact that you now have to check everyone to know what they are using... most people dotn like to be checked and this would cause alot of tension imho if it were introduced.

2ndly.. if they add customization of colors... that hard to get armor you just got no longer looks unique since everyone now has made a easier to obtain evrsion of that armor the same colors in imitation... :{

Those are good points and all but... the armour itself would still retain the basic design... just the actual colorization of the armour or robe would be different. Most people I have found if you ask permission will allow you to inspect them... which is just good common courtesy as we all know. It would be really rewarding for crafters to be able to do simple things like make a blue set of scale mail instead of that clay color. I would love to see that...

They should make a plastic surgery kind of quest, where your character can change his/her physical appearance. And maybe have a (repeatable) quest to change the color of your armor, so there isnt 10 of the same armor with different color in the AH.
