Conquest RankingsFollow

I'm obsessed with this lately. I dunno if anyone else even cares, but I decided I want to keep track of conquest rankings on the server over a period of time - to see how things really stack up. So, feel free to ignore this thread if you'd like. I'll likely just bump it once a week as I post the current rankings.

August 8-14:
#1 - Windurst
#2 - Bastok
#3 - San d'Oria

August 15-21:

#1 - Windurst
#2 - Bastok
#3 - San d'Oria

August 22-28:

#1 - Windurst
#2 - Bastok
#3 - San d'Oria

I think this week we're gonna see san'd up on top ... lotsa places with them on top...

San'doria needs to get it together (T_T) I remember whem we were #1 all the time.

Funny Story:
Some guy from carbuncle server was out leveling his warrior in east ronfaure and i asked him if he wanted a rabbit mantle because i was makeing them to skill up my leathercraft. He said sure and then he told me the following: "I am a lvl 30 ranger (i think it was) on carbuncle server. I was like, "Why make another character on another server?" He says, "On carbuncle server san'doria is always #1 in the conquest rankings. He sayed he started a linkshell totally devoted to makeing sure san'doria stays #1. He said one time that san'doria had control of the sartabatura (sp?) outside windurst for 3 RL weeks. I was like, "No F'n way!" Well i kept leveling leathercraft and seeing him around san'doria and in ronfaure for like a week or 2. Every time i saw him i would check him to see what his bazaar message was. everytime i checked him he had a new job to lvl 5 lol. He just kept leveling and changing jobs and it made me think. If san'doria is already in control of ronfaure then how will he leveling every job to 5 in ronfaure help us get higher in the conquest rankings XD so i asked him again why he didn't just go back on carbuncle and play with his normal character and he said because he said it wasn't right for san'doria to be in last place and that it was a disgrace LOL. Thats pretty much it and i thought it was pretty funny :p

But seriously i think that us san'dorians really need to get with it and get san'doria back up to the top just like in the olden days :/

I can remember long ago... say last Novemberish... when Sandy and Windy were allied for 2 weeks straight against Bastok... followed by Bastok and San Doria being allied against Windy like a week later. Competition seemed much fiercer back then wonder what happened.

You ally with another city when one city owns more than ... um 2/3s of all the land I think... I cant remember for sure... one city has to really be dominating badly for it to happen though I know that much.

windy has owned for 4 weeks straight. im loving it. mwhahahaha

Awesome thread. Admittedly, I didn't care about rank until recently since I want to CP purchase the Royal Knight's Belt which requires Sandy to be in first or second. ^_^

Also, I'd heard a rumour that many high lvl Japanese players are switching allegiance to Windy since many of them started out as Sandy or Bastok and want to get the whole story from all sides? any truth to this?
