So, I haven't actually watched anything this season yet. I plan on catching up on Kore wa Zombie and Nazo no Kanojo X... but are there any other ones people would recommend based on being about halfway through the season now? :D
Space Brothers(Uchuu something or other) has been my favorite thus far this season(disclaimer:haven't watched any Zombie yet). Accel World has been pretty good so far as well.
Definitely gonna second Accel world. It just keeps getting better. Zombie manages to keep one-upping itself (given that I haven't read the light novels, and thus don't know the story that's being converted) and is rather lovingly playing up it's natural refuge in audacity. The one I'm really impressed with thus far is Hyouka, partially because I love the way the story is told, and partially because it's just an interesting premise that I haven't seen a thousand ******* times (or at least, it's far enough from its core plot skeleton that I'm not actively recognizing it). Sankarea is pretty good, too, assuming you can get past the Zombie thing (ie: it's using zombies in a more real tone, as opposed to the absurdity of kore wa zombie rate me down ka, since in this case the zombie is a girl and the primary love interest who was turned into a zombie accidentally, as opposed to ayumu's... well... interesting circumstances.).
Oh, and there's Zetman, which I was a lot more excited about until I found out that it was set for a 12 episode run, which sort of killed it for me. I'm still watching it, and it's still awesome, but I hate when good, promising set ups get cut short at ~12 episodes.

I liking AKB little more then I really should maybe cause of how little I was expecting out of it. Only thing that bugs me is the way the CGI of the girls is done. Doesn't fit well with the rest of the CGI or the show well.
pretty much the same for me. I was expecting ****, and got a semi-decent/amusing/cute story instead, so I'm content with it. I also agree with the CGI, that's all sorts of the wrong way to go about it with anime. It's morelike gaming CGI, which just plain doesn't fit.
