I know many people have probably already seen Shin chan but I found out Youtube has all the episodes. This is one of the VERY few series I can watch dubbed, and I haven't watched the subs yet but If you don't mind crass humor you should all check it out. Its a riot.

Also if you can find it Deadleaves is the same kind of dubbing (gag dub pretty much) and many people PREFER the dubbed vs subbed because it adds a ton of humor to the movie.

I read the wikipedia article for Shin-Chan, and at first thought "Huh, this seems pretty 'meh' overall." Then I got to the American dubbed section, and decided I need to check out this series. It seems like it would be hilarious!

Dub gags remind me a lot of Otakon. One year I went and watched a fan re-structrued and dubbed "Nescaflowne;" I had not seen the original at the time, but the version was hilarious! The entire crowd was in hysterics while watching it. When I saw Escaflowne later, it didn't hold a candle to the dubbed and restructured version.

The dubs were decent, I'll give it that. The problem is it starts like in the middle of the series. I remember watching it subbed on TV in Hawaii like in '93. I'd love to see the back episodes dubbed, or at least released on DVD.

All hail the Elephant Dance.

Yes, it should be watched dubbed. And it is quality entertainment.
