I have to say this is a great movie. Some people say its based off of(or stolen from) fahrenheit 451 and/or 1984, but i dont agree! The idea of a complete communism or sometihng along the lines i dont feel should be patented to the first ones :).
Anyways those of you that have watched it, what do you think? At first i thought it kind of unbelievable, i mean us actually starting to use the drug must have been hectic in some way, but now that i think about it it isnt :P

Hated it as soon as the movie was halfway. But as I already payed for it, I just stuck to it and finished it.
Action scenes aren't all that ridiculous, although at points it does come close. Story is meager and meaningless, characters are hardly present but that doesn't always matter in a decent action movie.
It just didn't do anything for me, at all.

It's more like they don't really matter to the tale. It doesn't always matter though, some movies just don't focus around characters but more the visual or the action.
But then I didn't like that either, to be honest.
The movie is 100% eyecandy for guys like me who love bullet time, martial arts, blood and guns that go boom. While the story might've been pretty interesting (a la V for Vendetta) with a decent budget and an open-minded script writer, the movie itself delivered for me.
Don't tell me the gun kata scenes aren't completely awesome!

V for Vendetta rocks, I watch it at least once a day.
Equilibrium, the best fight seen is the final fight scene :)
My roommate rented this. I really need to watch it.
