The last bit was the worst. The movie raises the question of why the engineers created people, then wanted to destroy us, then didn't, Then it never answers it.
Do we still need spoilers this deep in?
I took the "didn't part" because of the break out. When they awoke the one being, he was all hell bent on doing what his last memory was...
They were all set out to fly the ship to Earth and unleash the worms. The holograms in the movie were in reverse.
The last one, when David was in the flight deck showed the group (as i took it) deciding on what planet to hit up (I took it they created life on more than one planet, because they could). Earth was picked. Somewhere in the loading of the ship something got out, and the 1st hologram David activates showed us them running away from something.
I have nothing for the creating of the Human race. The movie ends with the possibility of another pre/squeal that could maybe answer more.
The only thing I left the movie wondering on is why on Earth did they find the "invite" to the planet. Was it more of a warning? Did a few engineers decide they didn't want to kill the human race and come and warn us?
If you through AvP info int0 the history mix, the history of this "Earth" gets weird. Must not ponder on it, have things to do..
