The fanboy in me creamed his pants in delight at Michonne. Sword, check. Armless zombies on leashes, check. Hooded cloak, check. I'm happy.
That was an amazing character introduction.
Anyway, now that the cat is out of the bag as far as the infection is concerned, I'll just point out the title of the book/show isn't about the zombies. Kind of interesting. Also some more terminology that impressed me, since the label doesn't appear until way later in the series. A herd is what happens when one zombie starts walking, and then other zombies follow lemming like and soon you have hundreds of them.
As I was writing that, they showed The Jail and my inner fanboy ruined another pair of pants.
Anyway, I was pretty wrong about my predictions. I kind of figured Herschel would have bitten it, no pun intended, and I was about to write the series off when Andrea was abandoned. She's been, pretty much, the most useful female in the show, and I'll go as far as say she really is the most useful in the book. Also, Rick is starting to slip into his leader-esque role. I still had no idea who the hell that was in the Winnebago until the end. I actually forgot about him.
The Fall can't get here soon enough. Between showing the Jail and Michonne ... they know how to keep you wanting to watch.
Posting this because I'm annoyed that they're showing The Talking Dead before Comic Book Men and need a distraction. I really can't stand this show. Oh, and I'm going to miss Shane. He was such a minor character in the book, but he really came into his own in the show and I found myself agreeing with him much more than with Rick. Can't wait for Season 3. Can not wait.
