Missed claim, and might be back next week...what can I solo these days on DNC, RDM,SCH, BLM or PLD (moderately geared) pretty much the stuff I could before?
Is a decently geared RDM or WHM useful in new content, or DNC or BLM? Is the new content actually worth buying (be honest not fan boy/girl) or will I (you know what I like) be better suited just burning 15 bucks on some old nostalgia instead of buying Adoulin?

Depends on what you mean by decently geared Red Mage or White Mage. Red Mage in particular though needs to be really decked magic accuracy wise (potentially with revised merits) in order to do anything Delve wise. White Mage though is useful in there no matter what as long as you're a competent healer.

Well my RDM is probably not up to snuff, I mostly just used it to solo old content to make money (selling sky pops and ****) I think its probably only halfway through abyssea (maybe 3/4). My WHM is probably high end decent in the sense I have pretty much all the relevant Abyssea stuff, plus some of the extra stuff from outside abyssea.
I kinda skipped void watch so I am behind in that regard but other than that I have most of the things for both jobs (or can get them pretty easily I think, or buy comparable stuffs from the AH) I don't know how much not doing VW put me behind though.

Rdm talk everywhere now, feels like the olde days where topics derailed into rdm debates.
Blame Mos wanted to play beta today but duty finder wasn't bugged enough to extend testing for another day almost level 20 and can use those level booster npcs.

Level ALL the classes!
I used those level booster NPCs, since I finished the main storyline as far as the beta goes. Ended up using the Duty Finder to finish the last couple group fights. Also managed to find Mos & invite him into my LS.
Hoping we get one more weekend before characters get wiped. Still want to see if I can earn enough medals to get my personal chocobo.

Its because of me sorry. But only way ill really come back is if I can have fun on my RDM. If not whats the point. I am happy to see though that it is getting some love, and has some use. Hopefully the upcoming changes to elemental spells can further the use (1H update won't be bad either, for that evil scrub side I have.)

Between work, beta testing XIV, and finally finishing WotG, I've kinda lost the drive to play XI lately. I logged in to get the update & mess around with the Mog Gardens, and my opinion was a resounding "meh."
I'm probably going to cancel my content ID come August & play XIV for a while.

I can't blame the silly galka as there's not much to do anymore besides Delve, my social emptied so I left. Can't bring myself to quit fully, only thing I'm looking forward to is Monstrosity in August.

I'm in the process of reactivating my old account right now (and updating my files) and was told to check this thread and server out as it's supposedly one of the more active on zam. I haven't played in probably a year, year and a half and really just want to have people to talk to and do stuff with when I return. I'm more than willing to transfer over to Lakshmi if there's an active LS that will have me, or even if there's people who just need someone to adventure with and help them with certain content. I don't know anything about the new expansion, and I barely scratched the surface of VW before leaving, but I'm pretty well versed and knowledgeable with regards to the rest of the game, always eager to help and, unless a lot of new gear has been introduced, fairly well equipped to jump right in and be of assistance.
