Couldn't stay logged in for more than 5mins, seems wasn't the only one with the issue. Was too tired to play 11 not to mention sillies shell is usually empty now.

ah yeah, I was gonna renew last night but nobody was online on my flist so I waited
I had a graphic glitch but no connection issues on XIV so far, can you still change classes with a weapon change or have they changed that? haven't come across any weapons yet
Hm... just tried logging on ARR and it goes through the normal launcher stuff, then goes check updates, then just says undefined and the Play button is greyed out

Changing weapon types still changes your class. However, in ARR, you can't change classes until you finish the level 10 class quest from your guild leader. Once you do that, there's a quick initial quest from whatever other guild you want to join, where you get their level one weapon. My level 16 Lancer now has 5 levels in Carpenter and 3 in Botany.

Phase 3 of the beta only runs from 2 AM PDT Friday to 2 AM Sunday. There should be one more weekend of that left. Phase 4 is the open beta and should be running 24 hours until probably a couple weeks before retail.

Every couple of months I start to miss this game and inevitably end up looking at this thread. I was reading everyone's comments when I realized that I'm on the same FFXIV beta realm as you guys! (Cactuar) I'm loving the game so far: I've gotten LNC to 22 and just about finished the main story questline. You should all look me up for next weekend's test! My name is Bottlecap Bandit. I'm playing on PS3 without a keyboard right now and that **** sucks. I need to pick one up at some point this week. I hope I get to see you all in game!
Well, pretty much out of the blue my girlfriend asked me today if I wanted to play XIV because she was interested in it, so I guess I better get used to it
Silly Mos, but yeah I just deactivated my alt now to save money. Deciding rather or not to take a break since already paid for another month, hopefully monstrosity or something else from the next update brings something fun to do.
We should pick a server for after ARR launches! Now I know I want to lvl CNJ first with quests than Lancer. I saw BCB Friday I think in Gridania.

yeah, I have a lot of friends who are wanting to play so hopefully everyone can agree on a server for XIV
my GF wants to be a WHM, she loves to heal in MMOs so I will have a pocket healer, idk what I want to level first though, I was playing around with PGL a bit but didn't get far, I will have to decide soon

I believe the official Zam server is going to be Ultros, but my friends and I are likely going to remain on Cactuar.

I haven't seen Mos' character 'cuz he's a slacker and was hiding most of last week's beta.
Get a room Galka! I wanted to lvl drg in XI as well but pre-2h adjustment back in the day and drg being silly without mythic kinda put me off lvling drg. That new xiv trailer won me over again with omnislash, though I wish xiv had a little wyvern too.
I got a Nexus 7 tablet a few weeks ago and never looked back.
