What were you listening to, the Loop? I see they recently played Heart, Zeppelin, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Rush and Foghat. I only ever play XRT on the radio (when I'm actually using the radio) so I'm used to all sorts of nonsense.
Typically the Loop, although if I'm lucky enough to rent a car with satellite radio, I put on the "Lithium" station. More reliably 90's and grunge.
I got all excited when Q101 came back, but after listening to it, I want to drive railroad spikes into my ears. It's basically the same music as 101.9 FM, just ahead of the curve by about a month. They intersperse a grunge or 90's alternative song every 30 minutes or so in an attempt to appeal to aging Gen X'ers, but a man can only tolerate the same boring 21 Pilots song so many times.
