Let me metaphor this.
Almost everyone's family has an "Uncle Bob."
You likely all know "Uncle Bob." He complains endlessly about the weather. He hates the rain. He mentions it at every single family get-together.
Does he really expect the rain to never come again? No.
Does he expect constructive criticisms or ways to deal with the rain? No.
He hates the rain, wants to rant about it, and despite that many MANY people in the family don't want to hear about it, next family get to-gether, it's all about "that gosh darnit rain again."
Why does he do it?
Cuz despite the angry attitude, complaining makes him feel better.
