Following that logic, my toaster oven is a great server...

When you run Linux as the OS on them.

Then again, at least my toaster oven isn't a mac!

Nah, Apple's hardware's never been the problem. It's the whole propietary hardware/software thing that's been the issue. Your toaster would be a great server if it had Dual G5's :)

OS X server is pretty much SCO Unix (shh) so if you don't mind paying a slight $$ premium for the package you can just about buy a turnkey 30 Gigaflops rackmount with a delivered unlimited client OS for $4k.

They're a viable option. It's just the Apple logo on the side that makes people assume that whoever buys them is driving around in a Neon Yellow VW Bug listening to his IPOD :)

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.
