You wish. Life has a way of interfering with my online time at times. My grandmother had a heart attack. Gotta do the family scene.

No, she had to have 5, count 'em FIVE, bypasses. I have been visiting family in the hospital scince Thanksgiving. I am ******* worn out and pissed off at the world. My uncle has fought bladder cancer for many years now. In november we found out it was back, it has also spread to his kidneys. One is completely shut down, the other is working but not filtering. We have been waiting for the phone call in the middle of the nite. My aunt, his wife, has copd, she needs a lung transplant. So we have been up there with them until right before xmas. X-mas eve my grandmother had her heart attack. This was an hour after she left the celebrations. She had complained shortness of breath, but this happens regularly. Turns out it was the beggining of the heart attack. They went in and did 5 bypasses, problem, she has a rare blood disorder that makes her insides swell up and her airways to constrict. Had to fly her in medicine to try and prevent this swelling... didnt work. So.... this causes bleeders from the surgery.. not good. We hoped that her slight "confusion" we noticed after the surgery was just an oxygen thing. It's not we know think she suffered, and is still suffering from small strokes. Now we are trying to talk my grandpa into going into assisted living. Not happening. That farm is his life. Now, onto next problem. My cousin had a child 4 months ago. She went into the hospital last week for a kidney infection, had lung failure, and has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart. They hope its from her hormones beening out of whack from having her child. They cant tell us for sure. So shes on a vent, docs are doing their best.

Isn't this your second marriage? The whole traditional wedding in virgin (ahem) white thing is supposed to be for first weddings. Second weddings with all of the same fanfare are pretty ******* farcical IMHO.

On a sympathetic note, I had my favorite uncle pass away last year, and my last remaining grandparent. Also, my father was diagnosed with cancer and my sister found a lump in her breast. Last year sucked, and I do sympathize but you get through things because you have to, and every time something happened I tried to be a little more grateful for the time I had left with those still around, and remember the things that I wish I had said more to those that had passed.

About the wedding.... Why stress yourself if you don't have to? Why not have a quiet wedding at home and cut out some of the drama you can control? As far as tradition, etc, well, it's certainly not appropriate to throw a big bash when your family is going through difficult times.

Dear God, I must have mumbled, I'm so sorry. I said please strike Katie down, not her Grandma. Sorry for any confusion, and I hope you'll take another shot at it for me.

Yes, because it's important that we make it even easier for white trash to get married. If this were to happen, Elvis would drop dead again from exhaustion from Marrying every Katie and Kleedus (Hick name may vary) out there.

And incase you were wondering, I, unlike your future Brusband, don't beat you because I love you.

I'd keep the receipt for your wedding dress if I were you.

Just sayin'

Hey now...no kicking folks while they're down (even Katie). Wouldn't wish waiting rooms and wedding preparations at the same time on anyone.

Bah, a moron is a moron, whether or not times in their life are good or bad.

Saddam: Well, my Grandma is very sick, and I'm getting so frustrated with these wedding plans, what with having 8 wives already, and trying to do all this while oppressing my own people for my own benefit, that's really tough to do, I'm so stressed.

Bush: Wow, that's really sad Saddam, here, I want you to have this WMD, that should cheer you up.

Saddam: Thanks Bush, the cries of women and children being killed slowly and painfully will definitely cheer me up!

Bush: I think Amerrica is in agreeance that that was the right thing to do, now I'm gonna go promote marriage to my country, except to the gays, 'cause my Daddy says I don't like them.

See? You have to stay strong, I'm not going to get all soft just because she has some problems in her life. We all have problems. See what Flea wrote? That is very hard to live through I bet, and yet, Flea is a very nice, intelligent, caring person.

I stand by my earlier comments.

Time is upon us, often we feel,
It goes by too fast, can this be real?
Life as we know it, a treasure to keep,
Peace, love and happiness, to fill wounds that are deep.

This is for everyone, I pray for us all.
For together we are strong. Apart we each fall.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

I think you take what Spence wrote, put [: infront of it, and :] after it. If that doesn't make the vomit smiley, I don't know what does.

I can't help it. It's in my nature.

But I've noticed I've been poetic lately since that guessing game.

Here it comes.
