Can anyone tell me how to clam. What do I need? Where do I get it? I have looked at several forums and can't find anything. I'm sure I missed it. I wanna give it a shot. Thanks Bshame

My understanding is that you start this in Bibiki Bay. There is a NPC there that will give you the equipment. I am hoping to try this soon myself. Good luck and let me know how it goes. :-)

I've been clamming. It's fun. The boat ride to the Island is nice. But watch out, there are goblin shamen near the dock. And the only thing on the island I found that aggros is the CLOT. Nasty thing.

But, back to clamming. You 'rent' a bucket for 500gil. Read the info on it in you key items menu. You'll get a good laugh. Then target clamming spots along the beaches.

Good Luck, and have fun.

Thanks um, where do you rent the buckets from. Just a location discription would be fine. Is it before the boat ride or after the boat ride. What kind of things did yea get. I'm for sure doing this tonight. Can't wait.

Ok since you've been... Where do I find this mythical boat? Is it the one in Carpenter's Landing? It took me to Sandy (more or less) but it said it takes different routes. If this is the one, which route do I take? I have yet to make it to Bibiki. /sigh

Thanks in advance.

go for the coastline by buburimbu. gotta go through caves... and you will eventually find yourself in bibiki.

have fun killing those green shell thingies... they have super poison and insane hp regen.... too weak.. i think not... they are doable but have horrible drop rates..

Is there any money in this whatsoever? What kind of items are collected? I'm getting into the levels of alchemy now where I need fish. Or are they unique frogs and clams or something?

Supposively there is a LOT of money in it. You can use rented equip, clam in that general area, and sell what you catch to the NPCs there. Some of the items are 5k a pop! I also heard they made it "bot proof" by making it so you can lose your bucket if you're not careful. {I'm interested}. LoL. I'll have to check it out this weekend maybe.
