So, if you need help with AF only, please post in this and we can field our discussions here. I'm a simple galka, and I don't like scrolling up and down looking at different threads, makes me maximize my feeble INT, and gives me a headache.

Ooh, cool. One more level and I'll need help to get my Beat Cesti. I think... hear you have to fight a high level bomb or ghost or something.

Gusgen Mines NM
Of course u gotta activate it but just remember to bring a pickaxe to spawn the GHOST NM in the way back of the mines. Its not that hard if u have a good PLD to tank it and a good DD.
Ive killed Wandering Ghost like 2 times for my MNK friends. Had a 55+ PLD tank it.

Anfini I am still yet to do my AF1 for my Monk. Let me know when you want to go as I've had that quest active for like 2 months now. :-/ I think I've got a spot for it to waste away in the mog house somewhere. :-b

Yeah, remember to bring the pickaxe.... or feel really rotten when one of the people helping has warp back to get you one (thank you again :P )

don't be to quick to jugde the AF1 hand gear.. ACC and speed are a cool thing.. remember mnks are DOT DD (damage over time damage dealers). slap on agi gear and haste + the cesti and boom, machine gun mnk.
They will last you quite some time- a whole 2 levels *sigh*, then you can swap it out as needed. I still have mine for grins and giggles... and i used them against beetles when i could not hit much from 43-45 in quicksand.
as for other AF help, im available to help as long as i am not SP-ing. send me a tell- anfini knows where to find me.

Thrilla I know you said you would help me with my af2 for Dragoon, but figured I would hopefully recruit some more help on here. I got all the prework done just need to kill that Tiger. A high lvl PLD would be nice. Anyways anyone that can help reply a time on here, I am eastern time zone or just send me a tell. Friday night looks like the best time for me or Thursday night.

kowala, we can kill 2 birds with one stone, you have to go through eldieme necropolis to get to battalia island. the entrance isn't too far from where we will be camping for coffers. come with us and we can get that taken care of.

just a little note to jetta you can do ur af2 with a genkei 1 alliance
i did with lvls 49-51 1 whm 2 rdm 1 pld 2 drk 2 thf 1 drg 1 smn and myself (i came as my lvl 59 drg) all it takes is a matter of inteligence clear the room cast sneak on urself make the nms pop have the smn PULL ONE.. after one is dead the rest will disperse leaving you able to finish the quest.

Go me! :-b) That's providing my SP has a good night tonight and we hit 43 which can be done in 3.5 hours. /em crosses his fingers and prays for 43. I'm tired of my Mrc Cpt Scythe. I don't think my SP would mind you going with if we end up going. I'll let you know how it goes tonight. :-)

Anfini, like many others from the NY, NJ area who got shafted by optimum online, i am still unable to log on. I tried all the fixes proposed in the msgboards and yet still i am quite dead in the water.
I don't know how long it will take for me to get back on so i can not make a definite commitment on when i can be of help.
If i miss out on this round of AF, then i will gladly help out with the other NMs that need a killing (just no EN for me- i HATE that place)

So the connection problem was widespread huh? We couldn't SP last night cuz a guy couldn't get past POL. Grrrr.
