Has there been any word on this? I haven't touched Pokemon since like November and have no real intention to until Pokebank lets me bring my older pokemon over. For breeding and battling. Come on Nintendo!.

Pokebank is supposed to be back up in "Select Asian Countries" (read: not-China). NA/EU is supposed to be late Feb/early March.

I suppose it could always be worse. Could be like Diablo 3 PvP.

Plenty, mostly the four letter variety.

I tried to find a transparent Nintendo logo to make a visual joke by crossing out Blizzard and putting that on top...

But who am I kidding, Blizzard hasn't been holding to that design model for a solid 3-4 years now.

Got it downloaded, gonna test it out to xfer everything from my copy of White 2 which I happened to also have with me. It seems you have to start with your copy of X/Y though.

Be warned - it will tell you your pass is expired. You have to select "Purchase" to "purchase" the 30-day free trial. This is not one of those sign-up-and-have-to-cancel things, you just have to make the free purchase.

Otherwise... it seems to only work with X and Y. Smiley: frown

Yes, and it works. It transfers box 1 from whatever game you have in to the Bank. You can then transfer from the Bank to X, and it's only mildly annoying having to move them from bank to box 1 by 1 using only the D-pad. Overall seems to work as advertised, though slightly more time consuming than expected. Poke Transporter does move an entire box to the Bank at once, but it will only do Box 1 so you'll still have to go into the game to move the pokes you want to that box.

Annoying doesn't really start to describe it, but at least I filled out the rest of my pokedex, minus the limited edition crap that no one trades.

I just discovered that in B/W 2 you can select multiple pokemon at a time by clicking and dragging. This makes the rest of the transferring much, much easier. Pokemon bank still the rate-limiting step though since you can't do touchscreen Smiley: frown.

press start twice... then your arrow turns green and you can drag a box around several pokemon and move them in bulk. Took way too long for me to figure that out.

Oh wow... I thought those were only cosmetic. That would have been nice to know before I had finished transferring everything... Smiley: lol

(The blue one apparently allows direct moving without having to select the menu option, which also would have saved time).

Ive been playing this again a bit. I moved a crap ton of specials over from other games but am missing some stuff.

If anyone needs Gen 1/2/5/6 starters I have them all, I could use the grass/water Gen 3/4 starters if anyone has them (would be awesome!).

I also have a pile of pokemon for breeding so if you are missing some stuff and don't feel like catching it and it can be bred drop me a line and ill see If I can hook you up or not.

I have all the starters now woop woop.

Im up to 8 boxes of pokemons now, and over 420 pokemon in the pokedex. I fear however that I am going to be unable to acquire several of them, namely the mascots from Saphire and event pokemon.

Its too bad nintendo hasn't implemented a bank system where I can get past event pokemon and mascots from now defunct systems (looking at you GBA!). Heck id even pay them 99 cents just for the sake of completion.
