Yeah well I watched the one after the first boss, and when it ended, I was alone in the room and everyone was like 3 or 4 trash pulls ahead. The WAR tank was a GOGOGO puller.
I had a PUG the other day that was a GOGOGO puller, only he wasn't the tank. But at least it made healing the dungeon interesting.

I had a BRD pulling like that in a dungeon. I let him die. I've noticed that BRDs seem to give me the most trouble. Especially sice they don't seem to wait until I've positioned the mobs. I think BLM and SMN tend to start out by applying DoTs, so on pulls I have time to establish hate before they really start laying into them.

Bard should really start off by applying their dots as well. Unless they're planning on spamming quick knock/etc.

There's nothing about that statement that does not suck.

If it makes you feel better, because the PSN keeps going down, I keep getting DCed.

Except that you don't technically to be connected to the PSN to play (a fact I discovered by somehow glitching through the login when the PSN was down).

They require you to be logged in to play, but it's clearly not required for you to maintain a connection to their servers. I'd really prefer to not have extraneous network connections that do nothing but increase my chance of DCing...

I'm bummed that they aren't releasing all the housing areas at once.

Having to choose between waiting or buying multiple houses is a bummer.

There also needs to be a regular source of gil in the game. From what I've read, it doesn't seem like there are any real influxes of gil into the economy aside from quest rewards, which dry up eventually.

Fates would be that, no?

From what I can tell, they're playing it safe and not allowing for massive inflation due to such a huge supply of gil. I suspect they'll increase fate rewards, if need be, and possibly replace the exp with more gil at cap. But I expect they'll take that slow.

I don't even thing you make enough in FATEs to cover your repair costs for running them. I'll have to keep track later.

That thread is pretty entertaining if only for the sheer number of people that don't understand that the AH removes gil from the economy. They all seem to think that farming/crafting to sell on the AH generates gil.

Given the ridiculously high volume of "Numbers are hard" people I've run into since moving, that thread scares me more than surprises me.

Moogles are the delivery-******** like in FFXI.

They exist in the game too, Gridania's starting missions have them. I didn't see any in Ul'dah though.

Getting DCed nonstop, all-day. Sometimes it's been PSN-related, sometimes FFXIV.

/sigh

Wow, completely forgot about this thread for a week. My connection troubles have basically been non-existent since the patch last week, which is much better than I was expecting, tbh. To be fair though, I have gotten to log on maybe 3 times since then, and only once was during peak NA time. Spoon continues to be my most helpful resource in this game with his awesome tanking and willingness to rerun old content with me. Seriously, I'd be completely screwed without him. Smiley: inlove

Don't know if anyone brought this up yet, but they announced if you have the PS3 version of FFXIV they'll upgrade you to the PS4 version for free.
