I was forced to logout 2 days ago because my packetloss was getting stuck at 95% all the time. When i logged back in yesterday morning I found that my hotkeys for macros and my macro list on the action menu had disappeared. Any idea why this happened? Also why, when you have a hotkey sometimes it gets replaced by macro 0025 which is a take cover logo that moves from side to side?

I've had similar experiences. I tend to make backups of my profile directory now which seems to fix it once I rewrite to it.

Here's some helpful tips:
Always make a backup of the macro file in the folder swggalaxies/profiles/YourUserAccountName/macros.txt so if it gets wiped you can easily replace it.

Use load txt.files for long macros then in your hotbutton macro you only have to load the command to activate it. This is a whole lot easier (especially to edit them) then using long macros in the in-game macros itself.

More info on macros can be found here.

I also had this problem ,and i notice a pattern in its occurance.
It happened when i would drag a new "hotbutton" or macro over top of an existing "hotbutton" in one of my "f-key" boxes. Then when i logged out and back in again i got the "take-cover" symbol moving back and forth.

The Fix
Instead of dragging a new "hot-button" over an existing one, just right-click and hold over the existing button, then the pop-up will give you the option to remove the existing "hot-button"
Remove the existing one, then place the new "hot-button" in the empty box.
I did this and all my issues were fixed.
