Ah, this brings back memories of a SoO run with a 30k DPS Huntard. Worst part: He was 10th on the damage meter.
Crappy PUGs aside, I really don't like how there are so few Patchwerk fights in the raids. Sure, it's boring, unless you're running a Feral Druid. Then Patchwerk rotation is still JOHN @#%^ING MADDEN. My Ovale script goes totally apesh*t in there. Trinket procs and now I'm supposed to spam Rake instead of Mangle. CC procs and now I'm supposed to use Shred instead of Rake. Trinket fades, so now it's back to Mangle. CC proc w/o trinket means Thrash. WHAT THE ACTUAL @#%^?! Who designed this?
Blizz appears to think that no average player should ever think about playing Feral Druid in a raid setting.
Seriously, the skill required for that class is so utterly ridiculous, and you do absolute crap DPS if you don't do ridiculous amounts of research (or use an addon), and catch all of your GCDs, because missing just a couple hurts DPS bad.
They really need to bring Feral closer in line to other classes. I'm not asking for Arcane Mage, but something between what it is now and Arcane Mage would be nice.
One shouldn't need an addon that tells you what button to hit next just to play a class somewhat close to effectively.
But then I've also been very vocal about how much the Combo Point System absolutely Blows.
Monk has shown us that there's a better way to do Energy-based classes.
