Im pretty excited about the RP servers, Role Playing makes the game a whole lot better and there is no kids running around shouting "pwned" or whatever else they say. But I dont know about you guys, but im pumped about this news.

When you sign on and make a character, it will tell you what server your on.

Yea the servers will have names... so you will look at char creation and you and your friend can talk to eachother out of game and decide which server to get on.
On the RP server... Well the official thing is "RP prefered" there is no special ruleset and no way to enforce RP. So it is possible for ppl to make a char on there for the sole purpose of annoying rp'rs.. but then again there is the ignore feature :)

How can you (or they) be sure that there will not be any kids running around shouting things like "pwned"??
I sure hope they allow us to choose servers (ala EQ1)
If they force into a server like FFXI did, I will be pretty upset (not like SOE would care much though.. hehe)

I don't know about you, but when firona vie came out in EQ I was one of the first people on the server and I could never go back to the regular servers once I was on a RP one.
