I'm a level 9 norseman hunter, midgard and the guide says that at I believe level 10 I can wear studded leather. Is this right and what name does it go by on the vendors? All the different names confuse me.

Yes Studded have the best absorb a hunter can get.
It goes by the name studded at vendors just right click item, and the small window will say what type the armor is.
Doesn't matter what the name is just right click it and it'll say studded ;)
