With a Deeeep bow to SuiG for his post, I have take his and added what the level 61-70 items would be. I wanted to know where to go to try and improve my lack luster alts. Well here is the guide for that! Basically, if something is +9 at 61, it will be +7 at 51, +5 at 41, +4 at 31, +3 at 21, +2 at 11 and +1 at 1.

As clarification, in the old world zone MMs, this is correct; the stats decrease from max at +9 to 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (it just skips +6). For DoDH zone MMs tho, the stats usually max at +10, and decrease by one for each 10 levels down.

This is a two part question about monster missions.... I sure hope someone has some answers... First of all how do you get back to POK or out of the mission when you want to leave... I tried finding the entrance but never did.. Asked and someone said to just die. Someone else said ther was a spiritcaller on the AA list, but there was not on mine.. Second question.. I thought you didn't lose exp when you died on a monster mission??? but I lost half a level because I kept dying to get out of the mission.... so what's up with that??? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me..

Just a point it seems like hasn't been made...

At least on Luclin (would assume serverwide), the clockwork mission is again up and running. (Well, "again" since I came back long after these things had started). Acquired both pieces on Stubby a few days ago, and the Ring on my enchanter.

If you want to leave the mission, first go to the person/NPC that you got the mission from. They will be in the zone. Say the key word, and you should be able to get out. Don't forget to Alt=Q and Remove yourself from the mission. You will then be back to normal and can get to PoK via walking, gate, etc..

There isn't supposed to be a death penalty, but I suppose if you died repeatedly over and over, then there may be a loss. I'm sure your groupies were not happy with their exp penalty due to your deaths. From what I've seen, exp is based upon kills, time, and deaths (fewer the better exp).

There is a Spiritcaller AA for the "Shrouds" This is for when you are shrouded as a monster roaming around Norrath, not in a Monster Mission.

Lastly, becareful who you do a MM with. I've seen folks go into a MM and then go conveniently /afk until the end of the mission. Use the same common sense as when finding groupies.

We did a few MM's today and had fun with them. Freeport was great due to quick time and having fun raping/pillaging. Favorite one is the Griffons. Nothing like killing off the obnoxious newbies in East Commonlands! Naggie was a pain, wiped out twice and bailed. Stonebrunt was nice too.

The loot's nice, and the exp isn't bad. I'd strongly advise against grinding these as a sole basis of exp, your skills will not advance. It's a nice change of pace for a regular group of folks, and a safe way to try out a new groupie (see if they know what /assist is, etc... before they kill you) Also nice to be able to group with younglings in a setting that is controlled and instanced. Update: I added the 70.3 spell mission and the Progenitor Mission, some new items, and some lesser versions of old items. The list is looking pretty complete, but the following missions need some info, so if you happen to do them post a reply: The Revolt, Brownies of Doom, The Accursed Book, Infiltrating the Hive. We have found Relic of Mal to be common drop in Revenge on Farsoth, and Clockwork Ring to be the common drop in War Machines. Hope this helps.

How long on average do MM's last? is it like a LDoN with a time limit and its like 70 min...or is it longer??

The quickest one is the orc in nektulos which takes approximately 10 mins. Others take longer.

Regarding the South Karana mm. The 4 levers are in the jail area(2nd door after 1st bridge and up some stairs to a cell door). 2 are on the right just past the cell door( you can click them through the bars). and 2nd set of 2 are in jail area just around the curve on the right side. 1st 2 levers open the main jailcell door and some others cells, 2nd set open the rest of the cells. you can do a sucide run in if you are fast.

Thought I would add that another round of nerfs are incoming to MMs (xp adjustments). The HHK one being the main target. Others could actually get a boost, if they actually have a chance that you can fail.

On the stonebrunt mm necros have some issues, not sure if its fixed but when going to get the mission i agroed all kerrans and couldnot get in. it wasnt because i was an iksar because we have an iksar monk, any1 know if this has been fixed?

I had the same problem with the Stonebrunt MM, and I haven't heard anything about it being fixed. I do have a hunch tho, and that is to try using a monster Shroud before getting the mission... I think being in that form changes your factions, so it might be possible to do the mission then.

Since this is the Master List. Has anyone by chance done a breakout as to which MM gives best AAxp and Reg xp. I have only really done BB(Flounder), SB(can be done with 3 people two mages one good ranger), Undershore (Hate jumping to the bridge) and Queen Nok Tomb(tried to get sword but had a bad group and died like eight times<--- prob my own fault as well.)
I am a Lvl 55 Ranger and I know xp depends on lvl range but was just hoping which one was best xp (reg or AA) for the MM's cause I am getting sick of BB,SB and Freemind.
Any input is greatly appreciated. This thread has helped a ton already...

Monster Missions have been quite the subject of late. Lots of people b*tching and complaining. In one particular thread that was started by the community correspondent, specifically for MM discussion, a Dev responded. And this thread is still on the front page as I type this.

I don't know if you have any plan to do this in the future but a typical xp gained per mm would help as well. At level 70 I get 1 AA plus 30% per mission in both HHK missions. In OT mission it is 1 AA plus 27%

This number hasn't changed from before double xp when there were runor of changing the MM value.

hey i play a lvl 12 shammy and thats my only char so to all of you dat dont know you can do monster missions at all lvls. and at the highkeep mission "pickclaws revenge" heres a walk through. you have to talk to a guy that is somewere in the lower mines. hes a capt. i forgot his name. after that you have to go free 5 prisoners. 4 are on the 2 floor and 1 is on the 3 floor. After that you have to kill 40 goblins. after that finally you have to kill overlord Zobb. he will drop shards of wisdom. 1 for each member of the group and eather useable by druid,beast,monk arms or ueable by all shoulders. have fun all

Someone could compile a list of the xp gained. But every level is not the same. For example, at level 69 in the HHK mm you get around 105% AA.

It's going to be different for every level, and then of course you have regular xp to take into account as well. At level 70 in HHK you get right about 8%, and I think it's close to that at level 69. But this will change.

Yes, there was a rumor. But that rumor was mainly started by people who don't like MMs, much less the HHK one. The HHK one had NERF written all over it, as soon as people figured out how to do it in 15-20 minutes with a full group. Granting that you do have a 45 minute lock-out timer, this is still unacceptable to SOE and many players out there.

The only reason it has taken them so long to Nerf it back into the dark ages is because of the new expansion coming out. Most of their work and effort has went into that, and plus the recent rollbacks that occurred.

But I can guarantee you that the HHK mission will get the xp lowered. By how much? Hard to say. If they don't intend to make the mission any harder than it is, and only adjust the xp. You can probably expect a level 70 to get around 80% of an AA or less. Just my guess.

I can add the amount of XP in each mission, if everyone can post how much AA they get (at 100% AAxp) at level 70 for any missions they do. Exact percentages would be most useful.

do the "artifacts" gain in power as i lvl up or do they stay the same and i have to do the mission over to get the full stats of the item?

maybe this isnt the thread but im curious to know

No they do not, to get the best item, you have to be 61+.

Pckclaws Revenge in Highkeep yeilds 129.70% @ 70 w/100% to AA's.
