I think this question has been asked before, but if i want to start a druid and deciding whether to play a halfling or wood elf are they just pretty much the time except the halfling have a little better starting stats, but the same amount of wis? or can a wood elf maybe take more hits or higher hp or anything. please dont tell me it is whatever you enjoy playing. just say they are the same or if not please tell me what the differences are.

Thanks!

I have played both and in my experience the only difference is that the halfling seems to level slower, possibly due to class xp penalty. manapool and hp's are nearly identical but with the halfling having the slight advantage.

halflings have a bonus to exp. therefore they should level faster. Again here is my best advise play what makes you happy.

I have a 46 Halfling Druid on one server and a 45 Wood-Elf Druid on another. Once you get past newbie levels, what differences there are between them are pretty much inconsequential. The biggest difference for me between the two was the respective newbie zones.

Back when I started those toons (The Halfling before Kunark was released and the Wood-Elf around the time SoV went live), Halflings were blessed with the best newbie zone in the game. I don't know if that still holds true, since they've made a lot of changes to newbie zones since then. (Nek Forest used to be the most appallingly bad starting zone I could imagine. I started a Darkie Necro there a while back and it was much better than it used to be, so maybe Greater Fay is improved now as well. I dunno.)

But the bottom line is that you can't go wrong with making a Druid of either race.
