I looted a iced blood chip(or something like that) from an orc trooper in Everfrost today. a vendor offered about 6 Gp for it(seemed like a lot). Just wondered what it was for. Should i take the cash, or could i do my good deed for the year and give it to a needy.....? Any ideas?

Do you mean an Iced Bone Chip? These are from various Ice Bone Skeletons from around Norrath. There is only one quest associated with the item, Necromancer Words - X'Ta Timpi and unless you are a necromancer, you have no real reason to do that quest. Take the 6gp the merchant was offering you.

EDIT: Could you mean this?: Ice Blood, from various mobs in Everfrost. This is for a Froglok quest called Guja Token No. 1 and again, of no use to you.
