Oshinobi fought himself free of the Scourge.. but suffered a permanently damaged leg as a result. Qaryl regained his conciousness and self-control while in human lands. The Scarlet Crusade took his jaw during the torture sessions they put him through in an attempt to gather intel. When he escaped, he vowed revenge. He eagerly works for the alchemy guild now.
