The brand new City Building system for the new version of Voyage Century will be released soon. Seizing a port is always important in Voyage Century, but it takes on added value now. In the old version, a port can be occupied by a guild, and the guild will obtain a lot of benefits from it. However only powerful guilds have the ability to occupy the most prosperous ports. In addition, these ports are so few that once they are captured by a guild, it may never change hands again. As time passes, the difference between the powerful guilds and the ordinary guilds will become more pronounced.

In order to change this unfair situation, all guilds are allowed to build their own ports if they meet certain low requirements in the new version. Furthermore, players can develop their own ports in many directions, which will definitely bring a new dimension to business as usual.

Remember that entertaining Boss Party we held for our players last Christmas? Have you been wanting to go after all that elite equipment again? Well, don’t worry because we are going to be giving you one more shot at it. 2 cities, situated on the Atlantic, are prospering because of their long histories and brilliant culture. However, there are some greedy monsters planning to seize these 2 cities and steal their treasures. You need to protect the 2 cities from being occupied by the monsters. By beating these loathsome monsters, you will obtain the treasure they are carrying with them.

With April Fools' Day fast approaching, we will be offering you the chance to bring a smile to the faces of all of our players in VCO. And for once you won’t need to feel guilty when lying, because it’s April Fools’ Day!!! Tell us your “True Lies” now.

Event Content: We will be creating a new thread related to the event in our forum on April Fools’ Day. You need to post your creative or funny lies under the thread. You will be rewarded with Karma (can be exchanged for Credits) if your lies are really funny or creative.

To celebrate this, VCO will be holding a Double Item Mall Credits event. Players will obtain double Credits when they buy items in Item Mall from Feb 21st to Feb 28th. Meanwhile, some item prices will be slightly adjusted and the original prices for promotions will be remade.

1. Players will be able to obtain more Item Mall items in game. (The Phase 3 Skill Manual will be available on 22nd Jan )
2. VCO will be upgrading the system from 17th Jan to 22nd Jan in response to comments from players.
3. The “Build City” function will now be available, so small guilds can also own their own cities. To own a city, Players only need to complete some quests and pay money. However in order to upgrade the city level, they will need to obtain more advanced equipment or items. They can develop their city in 1 of the 4 directions, Industry Port, Commerce Port, Agriculture Port and Military Port. So it’s important to communicate with other cities to obtain what they need. (When characters have reached certain levels, they can build a city.)   
4. The Auto-Trace function will be available, so players will never get lost. Players only need to choose the destination on the map. (in development)
5. In order to avoid fraud, a Market System will be open to players. Players can use the function to find out how much other players are charging for the item you want to buy or sell within your range. (in development)

Voyage Century Online is endeavoring to continue to solve the problems that have been affecting it and to enable players to obtain certain Item Mall items in game. The Phase 3 Skill Manual and some other crafting items are also available in game now. 

To obtain the Phase 3 Skill Manual: you can either beat the boss on Hurricane Island, or dig for treasure to make an exchange for it. (The boss will drop the Phase 3 Skill Manual from 22nd Jan onwards) 

To obtain the crafting items: Blood Stone, Fire Stone, Amethyst Stone, Holy Spirit Stone, Flame Stone, Windstorm Stone and Huge Power Stone can all be obtained from the monsters in the Hurricane Instance, or you can buy them from the Municipal Ministers in Oslo, Cape Town, etc…but your guild should occupy the city first.
