Team Fortress 2 is now free-to-play, so Mike B. aka Fony decided to make it the focus of his latest BFF Report. He talks about the classes, item drops, crafting and cash shop... things that are familiar to any MMO player.

Keeping all of these ingredients in mind, you can almost classify Team Fortress 2 as an MMO if you take Steam's chat options into account. How close are we to completely blurring the line on the definition of an MMO? Are we getting to the point where we can just assume games are going to be online?
