Bioware's Mass Effect 2 has bestowed upon us its final piece of downloadable content. "Arrival" is said to be the bridge between the sequel and the upcoming third installment in the franchise, Mass Effect 3. Is it a worthy cap to this award-winning game? Mike B. aka Fony decided to find out in his latest BFF Report.

As one of the most heralded science fiction sagas in history - not just gaming - the Mass Effect trilogy has spurred gamers from all over the world to jump into the boots of Commander Shepard and fight to take back the galaxy from all sorts of villainous creatures. We knew that our readers would be interested in the next addition to the Mass Effect series, so we stopped by their suite at GDC 2010 to learn a bit about their upcoming DLC, a new companion character for Shepard's party named Kasumi.

The original Mass Effect is arguably one of the most epic sci-fi games – if not entire settings – to ever see the light of day. Like Star Wars and Star Trek, this single player RPG has attracted an almost cult-like following, and hordes of those fans will be lining up on the evening of January 25th to rush into their local video game stores and pick up their brand new copies of Mass Effect 2.

So to jack the hype even higher, our BFF Report host, Mike B. aka Fony, decided to nab an early copy of the heralded title and has voiced his own views on the state of Commander Shepard’s continuing trek across the galaxy. What did he think? What did he find out? Which girl did he sleep with?
