Today marks the open beta launch of CardMon Hero, the free-to-play MMO that features a card summoning battle system. All players will be able to try out the game once the doors open at 5 p.m. PST. You can start downloading the client on the game's official site in preparation for the launch.

In celebration of the milestone, the CardMon Hero team has released a batch of new screenshots, which you can view in our gallery. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the latest gameplay trailer after the jump.

Redbana has announced that the second round of closed beta testing for CardMon Hero is scheduled to kick of today, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. EST. The servers will be open until Jan. 9. Head over to the game's official site to apply for the beta or enter your key. All players will get a chance to jump in when the open beta goes live in the coming months.
